blog response 4

The main thing I learned from my group's parable is that everyone is loved equally by God no matter how long we have been living. In our presentation, we showed that when a new baby is born into a family, the parents love all the other kids the same as the baby no matter how long they've been born. I learned a few things from other groups' parables. From the Rich Man and Lazarus, I learned that we need to be thankful and happy with what we have in our lives. From the Parable of the Sower, I learned that there are four types of ground, and each type represents the Word of God. From The Prodigal Son, I learned that we need to forgive people and respect one another. The moral that impacted me the most was the Prodigal Son because people have done things to me in the past that I have not yet forgiven them for and feel the need to. If Jesus was in our society today, he would be honest and truthful with us and would help us with anything. If anyone was having doubts about not being loved, forgiven, or respected, Jesus would be there to comfort them and to tell them that everything will be ok.
