blog response 3

The four gospels in the Bible are Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The one that speaks and relates to me the most would have to be the gospel of Mark. This is because if I were to write one of the gospels, I would write it in a short and to the point way that it was written. In the gospel, it describes all of Jesus' life when he was alive and when he was being crucified, It is the go-to gospel that others look for for inspiration because of how well it was written. It also speaks to me in a way that makes me want to learn more about Jesus' life. I find myself intrigued in the writing and wanting to keep reading about Jesus. The other gospels, on the other hand, aren't as detailed. The gospel of Matthew is simply based on stories that were passed down to spread information about Jesus. The gospel of Luke is also based on passed down stories, but it describes the birth, death, and resurrection of him. The gospel of John is more on the side of opinion, and it begins with a hymn that states Jesus' mission and function in the world. These three gospels not giving much information and facts about Jesus' life concludes to me saying that I resonate the most to the gospel of Mark.
