If we follow the Beatitudes, our lives will look clearer and we will become better people. The only thing we would need to do differently is to worship him in our daily lives. We would need to be more like God. We need to give up being greedy and we would need to focus more on the things that are important to us in our lives.
One day I was guided by the second and fourth Beatitudes. For the second, I was in a bad mood at the beginning of the day, but got myself in a better mood and sustained it through the rest of the day. On that same day for the fourth, I was very anxious and eager for my soccer game because I wanted to win. At the end of the day I was happy with the score and felt better about myself. Overall, I was happier and it was a little hard to keep myself living these Beatitudes, but after about an hour, I got used to it.
