blog response 10

I learned a few new things from the Marian Apparition projects. First off, I learned that Mary can help those who are wounded or are very sick. She helps them by telling them to do something specific, and when he or she does that, they are immediately healed. Secondly, I learned that when we need to ask for forgiveness, we can ask her because she is trustworthy. Thirdly, I learned that we should never stop believing. She shows us that things happen for a reason and that our dreams will come true if we believe in them enough. Lastly, I learned that if we place our confidence in Mary in knowing that she can help us achieve anything, we will be saved from harm in the world.

I saw resilience at work in this project when Mary cured those who were sick and ill. She came and helped them find their way and be safe again so they can live a full and happier life. For example, this showed the most when Juan Diego's uncle had died, and Mary brought him back to life the next day. I see myself as being somewhat resilient because I can recover quickly but not that quickly. In my life, this is mainly shown through sports for example. Whenever I get a bad time or hurt my legs in track, I can recover quickly but not super quickly or else I will re-injure myself or will never improve my time. The same goes for friendships. When someone is being mean to me all of the sudden, it is very hard for me to become close with that person again.
