People I have learned about in this unit have suffered from wanting or being able to preach the word of God. People all around them were saying that the apostles were wrong in what they were reaching, and they wanted to make sure they stopped. However, the apostles did the right thing and kept preaching to God because they knew that in time, everything would be fixed. Even though they acted very shocked and surprised when they were getting hated on for doing the right thing, they kept doing what they knew how to do.
The story that I found the most inspiring was the one about Paul and Barnabus where everybody thought Paul was being an unrealistic person by preaching the word of God, so they stoned him when really he was just being nice to others. I find this the most inspiring because it shows that when we be nice to people, it can rarely backfire at us and we get rude comments back, but we have to learn to overcome those comments.
When I have been faced with challenges in my life, I have tried to face them head on. I believe that everything happens for a reason, and challenges are just another bump in the road that we have to get over. I have dealt with them by either being straight up about the problem, trying to fix it, or by accidentally making a mistake from that challenge and learning from it.
People that I can turn to the most in situations are God, my family, and my close friends. This is because I trust their opinions the most and they know the most about me more than anyone else. My family will give me helpful advice on what to do and my friends will be there to support me no matter what.
